Parent & Citizens Association (P&C)
The Drillham Parent & Citizens Association (P&C) supports the school through a range of activities such as working bees, fundraisers, tuckshop and uniform shop. The Drillham P&C aims to support and improve the learning and the learning environment for all Drillham students.
All parents/carers and community members are welcome to join the Drillham State School P&C association. Members meet three times a semester on a Tuesday from 3:30pm as advertised in the school newsletter. Membership forms are available upon request at the school office and provided at the welcome BBQ at the beginning of the year...
Volunteers
All volunteers are required to read and sign the volunteer register in the office. Volunteers who do not have students at the school require a Volunteer working with Children blue card linked to the school.
Parents and community members volunteer and support the school through Morning reading, Under 8's, book week and working bees.
School Council
Drillham State School is an Independent Public School (IPS) supported by the Drillham State School school council. The key functions of the school council is to guide the strategic direction of the school and to operate in a way that achieves the best learning outcomes for students. The council is comprised of elected representatives from staff, parent body and community. The council meets four times a year. in conjunction with P&C meetings.
